Privacy Policy

The short version: VibeRoom has no accounts and asks for no name, email or password. To make a makeover, your room photo is uploaded to our servers and sent to our AI provider. That's the only reason we hold it. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and you can delete any makeover, photo included, from the Library at any time.

Who we are

VibeRoom ("the app", "we", "us") is an iOS app published by Oguzhan Arslan. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@viberoom.app.

There is no account

You don't sign up for VibeRoom. When you first open the app it generates a random device identifier and stores it on your iPhone. That identifier is how our server knows which makeovers and how many credits belong to you. It isn't linked to your name, your email, your phone number or your Apple ID, and we can't use it to identify you as a person.

Your room photos

This is the part that matters most, so we'll be direct. Unlike a purely on-device app, VibeRoom has to send your photo off the device in order to redesign it. When you start a makeover:

The photo you pick is uploaded to our storage, hosted on Supabase.
It is then sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, which generates the redesigned image. OpenAI processes it through its API and, under its terms for API customers, does not use it to train its models.
The generated makeover is stored alongside the original so it can appear in your Library.

Your photos are used for exactly one thing: producing and re-showing your makeovers. They are not sold, not shared with advertisers, not used to build a profile of you, and not published anywhere.

Camera and photo library

VibeRoom asks for permission to use your camera or photo library so you can provide a room photo. It only ever reads the single picture you choose. You can decline these permissions, though without a photo the app can't make a makeover.

What else we store

The makeovers you generate, and which room type, vibe and colour tone you chose.
Your credit balance and the transactions that changed it (used, refunded, topped up).
Whether you have an active Pro subscription.
A record of which product links you tap, so we can tell which shop suggestions are useful. This is tied to the random device identifier, not to you.

TikTok Shop links and commission

Product suggestions are close-match finds, not the exact items in your concept. They open in TikTok Shop or your browser, and they are affiliate links: if you buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Once you leave VibeRoom, whatever you do on TikTok Shop is covered by TikTok's own privacy policy, not ours.

Subscriptions

VibeRoom gives you one free makeover to start. Pro is purchased and billed through Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment and we never receive or store your card details or your Apple ID.

To confirm your subscription status, the app may use a subscription-management service (RevenueCat). When used, it receives only an anonymous identifier and the App Store purchase receipt needed to verify your access. It does not receive your photos or makeovers. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Who processes data for us

Supabase — database and photo storage.
OpenAI — generates the makeover image from your photo.
Apple and, where used, RevenueCat — subscription purchases and status.

These providers act on our instructions and may not use your content for their own purposes.

What we don't do

No advertising and no ad identifiers.
No selling or renting of personal data.
No third-party analytics profiles built around you.
No accounts, no passwords, no email lists.

Your control over your data

Open Library, select any makeover and delete it. That removes the concept, the room photo it came from, and its saved product matches.
Delete the app to remove the device identifier and everything stored on your phone.
Want everything on our side erased at once? Email hello@viberoom.app and we'll delete it.

Deletions are permanent, because we keep no backup copy of your rooms.

Children

VibeRoom is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will also be reflected in an app update.
